Getting Started with Acuity Scheduling Pro
Learn how to install Acuity Scheduling Pro, authorize your Acuity account, and turn on real-time sync in Zoho CRM.
Installation
Go to the Zoho Marketplace, search for Acuity Scheduling Pro by Machron Tech, and click Install. Once installed, open the extension and go to the Settings screen (the System Settings tab in the top navigation).
Authorizing Your Acuity Account
In the Acuity Connection card, click Authorize Acuity Account. This opens Zoho's native Connector sign-in flow for Acuity — log in and grant access from there. Your Acuity credentials and tokens are handled entirely by Zoho's Connector; Machron Tech's code never sees or stores them.
Once authorized, the card switches to a Connected & Secure state and shows your connected business name and admin email.
Set Your Routing and Region
In the CRM Routing Targets card, choose whether new bookings should default to the Contacts Module or the Leads Module (this can be overridden per appointment type — see the Appointment Type routing article). Confirm the Zoho Regional Domain Suffix — the widget auto-detects this from the CRM tab you're using (.com / .in / .eu / .au), but you can override it.
Turning On Real-Time Sync
Authorizing Acuity does not start syncing by itself. In the Global System Toggles card, switch on Auto Calendar Sync. This registers three webhooks with Acuity — appointment.scheduled, appointment.rescheduled, and appointment.canceled — and a confirmation toast reports that all three webhooks were registered. If registration fails, the toggle reverts itself and the toast explains why.
Save
Click Save System Configuration in the header to persist your settings. From this point forward, any new, rescheduled, or canceled Acuity appointment will sync automatically to your Zoho CRM.
